Maurizio's On The Water: Exceptional Waterfront Dining with Fresh Seafood & Inviting Ambiance in Whitestone, NY

Visited the restaurant from Canada with my American family. Service and food was fantastic. Check out the Angry Shrimp and Crab cakes. Every dish was fantastic. Cheers.

Absolutely blown away by our experience at Maurizio’s On The Water! My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate her birthday, and everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and exceptional attentiveness. The ambiance, service, and overall vibe made it a night to remember. We’ll definitely be coming back!

WOW…what a beautiful waterfront spot with amazing food! We were a group of six, who shared appetizers, entrees and desserts. We tried the crab cakes, the goat cheese and fig flatbread, a very colorful salad. And for dinner the seafood pasta dish, the short rib cavatelli pasta dish and the dirty martini chicken dish—everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The short ribs was the standout for me. Their desserts were fantastic (highly recommend the tiramisu and flan), and the drinks were light, tasty, and refreshing. A really great atmosphere with delicious food—this place is most definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely exceptional! Finally, a gem in the neighborhood that lives up to its anticipation. The interior is nothing short of stunning, with a perfect blend of style and comfort that beautifully reflects the serene charm of Whitestone. The ambiance is calm and inviting, making it an ideal place to unwind over some wine. As for the food—simply divine. The dishes were not only delicious but generously portioned, making it easy to share and enjoy together. The seafood, in particular, was incredibly fresh and tender, showcasing the care and quality that went into each dish. You can tell that every plate is crafted with precision and attention to detail. The service was top-notch, with the staff making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. And let’s not forget the breathtaking views from the deck—a rare find that you can’t get anywhere else in the area. Without a doubt, this will be a go-to spot for me, my friends, and family. Whitestone has truly gained a new staple!

We were fortunate to catch a warm, sunny day in October and wanted to dine outdoors. Maurizio's has a deck that extends out over the water and it was a spectacular spot for lunch! We also came back a few days later and ate inside. Beautiful space with lots of natural light. Very good bartender (Bourbon Sidecar was perfectly mixed, and the margaritas refreshing and tasty). Their pasta are very fresh We enjoyed penne alla vodka (added chicken), rigatoni scampi with shrimp (added crumbled sausage -you have option to add several proteins to their pastas), tagliatelle bolognese, and margarita pizza with peppers. Each dish was served hot and fresh, and all were delicious. Their pistachio ice cream and Italian cheesecake are great ways to end the meal. Definitely a place we'll return to, especially when warmer weather comes back!

Amazing! Great addition to the neighborhood! Food is delicious... Beyond delicious. Drinks are on point... Bartenders know their stuff! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The management team is top notch. Been there a couple of times and will certainly being going back frequently.

First time here and our food was fantastic and the view was amazing! The service was incredible. The host and our server Elise went above and beyond to accommodate us. Highly recommend and I will be back!
